What we analyze
The dashboard for Past Performance will showcase the interactive trends of GII (Global Innovation Index) for Malaysia. It will provide insights into the index, input and output pillars, subpillars, and individual indicators over time.
The Country Benchmark dashboard will present an analytical overview of Malaysia's GII ranking and score compared to other countries. It will additionally present an assessment of input compared to output and the correlation between innovation and development.
The Indicator Information dashboard exhibits comprehensive details about the chosen indicator. Information provided includes the unit, value, CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate), ranking, headroom score, direction, definition, and source. It also presents graphs and trends reflecting the values over the past ten years, along with a Year-on-Year percentage growth analysis.
What-if analysis is a method employed to predict the output of GII ranking and score based on provided input values. It allows users to explore the impact of different variables on outcomes in a model. By changing one or more input variables, users can observe how these changes affect the results.
How it works
The GII has two sub-indices which is the Innovation Input Sub-Index and the Innovation Output Sub-Index, and seven pillars, each consisting of three sub-pillars
